Hello Wheatlands Residents.

Reminder to drivers – please help us prevent thefts from vehicles!

We’re aware of reports on social media that there have potentially been a number of thefts from vehicles in in the Wheatlands area of Redcar and around Hob Hill in Saltburn where various low value items have been stolen.

While not all instances have been reported to police, we’re taking this opportunity to remind drivers and owners to remove all items and valuables whenever you leave your car or van unattended.

Please also make sure all windows are fully closed and your vehicle is locked even if you’re only leaving it unattended for a short time!
